...You might say that I get to drive the bus...
Clay Warf, NCBF President
7/29/2009 -

Welcome to the Foundation website! My name is Clay Warf and I have been privileged to serve as Executive Director since March 1998. Only two people remain from the staff that I joined originally, but we do have a wonderful staff that we intend to introduce to you over the next 10 months as a website feature. These are all gifted and committed servants that we want you to know better.
I was a pastor for nearly 30 years before coming to the Foundation, 27 of those years in North Carolina. I grew up in Reidsville, the son of a bi-vocational pastor, and graduated from Gardner-Webb, Wake Forest, Southern Seminary and Southeastern Seminary. My North Carolina pastorates were Temple Baptist in Durham and Roxboro Baptist in Roxboro. I am blessed to have two sons and one beautiful grandson.
My primary responsibilities at the Foundation are to oversee our daily operations and to give direction for future ministries. You might say that I get to drive the bus, but I also have the responsibility of seeing to it that everything on the bus is operating efficiently and effectively. That last part could be quite challenging were it not for the wonderful staff that God has provided us. They really keep the ministry running smoothly and hitting on all cylinders. That makes it fun to drive this bus!
