Heritage Awards

The beautiful Grandover Resort Hotel in Greensboro was the site for the 2010 North Carolina Baptist Heritage Award event on April 20, 2010.  This event is hosted by the North Carolina Baptist Foundation and the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina.

Burgess and Mary Jane Marshbanks of Buies Creek, shown holding the plaque, are the NC Baptist Foundation's honorees for the 2010 North Carolina Baptist Heritage Award.  Taking part in the presentation are Clay Warf on the left and Milton Hollifield on the right. Selected for their generosity of time, talent and treasures through the NC Baptist Foundation, the Marshbanks are a shining example of Christian stewards and we were excited to honor them in this way.
